Light Farms is a 1,070 acre master-planned community in Celina. Started in 2012 by the Republic Property Group, this community features many fast-growing neighborhoods perfect for your family. The goal of Light Farms is to bring people together to promote a “healthy, lively attitude and lifestyle” and they do this by having an on site CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.
AMENITIES AND EVENTS
As Light Farms continues to grow, they keep adding more amenities for residents to enjoy. In the Barn Yard area, there is a fitness center, information center, 5 pools, tennis complex, basketball court, 2 bocce ball courts, sand volleyball, playground and Farm Stand Cafe and Market. In the center of everything lies the Farm Stand, a covered building which holds many activities throughout the year. Around the community there are 13+ miles of hike and bike trails, 240 acres of green space, and art for people driving around to see. Each weekday there is Camp Gladiator and Baby Bootcamp. On Friday’s there is ballet class.
When you live in Light Farms, the HOA covers many benefits that other neighborhoods or communities might not provide. The HOA fee covers clean streetscapes, front yards, common areas, and amenities. Your front yard will get 40 mowing visits per year, 8 weed and trims, and 3 chemical applications, giving you an average total savings of $3,445. HOA dues are based on lot size: 50′- $130/month, 60′ and 70′- $137/month and 80′- $144/month.
Inside Light Farms is an active lifestyle community with low maintenance homes. All homes are one story and built by Taylor Morrison. Security monitoring, a private social event center and yard maintenance is included with living in this community. For more information about Taylor Morrison, click here.
Light Farms is located in the acclaimed Prosper ISD. It is home to the on-site Light Farms Elementary School, where students from K-5th grade attend. Students will then attend Reynolds Middle School and Prosper High School. The Light Farms Montessori school opened recently and accepts children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.
