David was born in Colorado, but grew up in a rural Kansas farming community and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Fort Hays State University. He has relocated several times during his law enforcement career and truly understands the stress of moving and the advantages of working with straight forward and honest professionals. When it comes to the important decision of buying/selling a home, David has so much to offer his clients. Working and traveling worldwide has exposed him to many different cultures, life styles and housing arrangements. In addition, due to his knowledge of the DFW metroplex, David has the expertise and understanding to effectively guide others through the different levels of real estate transactions. Continuously emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining client relationships, David provides clients with the market knowledge and resources they require to effectively make the best real estate decision for their families.

David was relocated to the Dallas area in 2001 immediately following the 9/11 attack on America. He was tasked to build and staff a new Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) office in Dallas. After completion of the project, he elected to make Flower Mound his home and he continued on to serve as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas FAMS office. Although David was asked to relocate to Washington DC in 2012 and serve as the Special Agent in Charge of Field Operations, he elected to turn down this prominent assignment in order to stay in Flower Mound. David and his family felt a strong connection/commitment to the local community and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. He continued to serve the FAMS as an instructor for the Federal Flight Deck Officers Program until he elected to retire and made the choice to become a realtor with Coldwell Banker Apex.

David enjoys hiking, fishing, outdoor activities, sports and spending time with his family.
